Performance Shift: The Art of Successfully Navigating Change

Patty Cisneros Prevo: Tenacious!

Kat Koppett and John Register

Join Kat and John for a conversation with Paralympian and DEI professional Patty Cisneros Prevo who is transforming children's literature and by extension our views of ourselves and our world.

In 2019, Patty received the Lee & Low Books New Voices Award Honor for Tenacious: Fifteen Adventures Alongside Disabled Athletes. Tenacious highlights 15 disabled individuals and their major life and athletic accomplishments. Patty herself is a five-time National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA) Champion, a three-time Paralympian, a two-time Paralympic gold medalist, and captain to Team USA.

We discuss accomplishment, identity and what we all have to learn and unlearn about each other.

Make sure to stay to the end and meet: Zippy Zopper!

We love to hear from you about the challenges and changes you are navigating, or any other thoughts, insights, question or celebrations you'd like to share!
